| Gandhi was a unique man. He fought the authorities on behalf of the weak but he also worked very hard to educate the weak about their own responsibilities. When faced with racial discrimination in South Africa, Gandhi resolved to eradicate it, but he did not put the entire blame on the authorities. Gandhi argued that in order to receive equal treatment one must also demonstrate one's willingness to accept equal responsibilities. In his very first meeting with the Indians Gandhi asked them to cultivate 4 good habits: |
